I am a Councillor for Ridgeway Ward in the London Borough of Enfield. I was born at Chase Farm Hospital and educated in local schools. I swam competitively for Griffins Swimming Club. When studying at university I worked as a part time swimming teacher and lifeguard at Enfield leisure centres across the borough.
Elected in 2010 as a Councillor for Town Ward, I moved to Highlands Ward in the 2018 elections. I was successfully re-elected in 2022 to represent the new Ridgeway Ward created as a result of boundary changes.
I had the privilege of being the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate in Enfield North at the 2019 general election. Prior to that I stood as a London Assembly Candidate in 2016.
I currently serve on the Environment and Climate Action Scrutiny Panel, General Purposes Committee (Audit) and Regeneration Scrutiny Panel. I am also a governor of Capel Manor College and a trustee of the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre on Baker Street.
My key interest on Enfield Council is the environment including defending the Green Belt, keeping our streets clean and tidy, maintaining our parks and making sure the borough remains a nice place to live.
I currently work at the House of Commons after years of working in regional government and the private sector. I enjoy playing tennis, swimming, ten pin bowling and going to the cinema.
